Joseph – Ruler of Egypt. The slave who rises to Commander in Chief – And Saves a Nation. His action-packed life encompasses love, hate, sibling rivalry, betrayal, infidelity, false accusations, prisons, palaces, defeat, and victory. He rescues his family and forever changes the World – Joseph: Ruler Of Egypt
Joseph grew up in a large, complicated family, the favourite son of Jacob’s most beloved wife. Jacob’s obvious favouritism created deep jealousy among his older brothers. While visiting them in the fields, they sold Joseph into slavery and faked his death.
This single act became a turning point for the entire family. Jacob was heartbroken, the brothers lived with guilt, and Joseph faced the nightmare of slavery in Egypt. Yet instead of despairing, Joseph fully surrendered his life to God — and that decision became the secret of his incredible success.
We continue Joseph’s inspiring story. Sold by his brothers and bought by Potiphar, an Egyptian official, Joseph stayed faithful to God and rose to become chief steward of the household.
When falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife, he was thrown into prison. Yet even there, Joseph kept his faith, gained the warden’s trust, and interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh’s butler and baker. This led to Pharaoh calling on him during his own troubling dreams.
God sovereignly elevated Joseph to a position of power, where he would ultimately save an entire nation from famine.
After two years in prison, Joseph’s life changed overnight. From a forgotten slave, he became second only to Pharaoh by interpreting his dreams of seven years of plenty and seven years of famine.
Appointed Grand Vizier, Joseph stored vast grain supplies. When the famine hit, his brothers came begging for food and bowed before him — fulfilling his dreams from over twenty years earlier — without recognising him.
Joseph saw God’s guiding hand through it all. Join us as we explore his rise to power, emotional reunion, and faithful journey.
