[OFFICIAL TRAILER] Silent Night

On the evening of 24 December, 1914, German and English troops in the trenches in Belgium called a ceasefire so that they could celebrate Christmas. One of the few carols they had in common was Silent Night. But where did this magical song come from? Why was it known both to the Germans and the English? Find out, in our upcoming episode, “Silent Night”. Airs Sunday 20 December at 8.30am on Channel 9GEM across Australia.
