Australia has more than 300 lighthouses scattered along its coastline of over 37,000 km to warn ships of danger, establish their position and guide them to their destinations. Like ships at sea, we also need a guide to lead us through the storms and challenges of life. God has given us His Word, the Bible, like a lighthouse. In Psalms 119:105, it says: “Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.”
